As you may know, all Year 1 children will take part in the Phonics Screening Check in June 2026. Regular reading—especially practising sounding out and blending—helps children feel well prepared and positive about this assessment. Your involvement makes a significant difference, and we are delighted to welcome you in to support this part of their learning.
