This week we spent time getting to know our new teachers and classrooms. 

Everyone did some number problems and read lots of words and we all got our first reading book of the year. 

In English we read Flotsam and tried writing our own expanded noun phrases to describe sea creatures. 

In Maths we recalled making 10 and 20 then moved onto understanding the place value of numbers to 100. 

In Geography we used an online route planner and found out how long it would take us to travel to conkers and other places near to our local area.
