We continued to work on our understanding of the place value of numbers to 100 and ended our week by completing number lines in 10s and 1s. 

In English, we have been learning to write sentences including co-ordination – the words and, or, but so. 

We have gotten very good at using so and or!

We finished our geography unit and have begun our first science unit all about living things. We can tell you what makes something living, dead or inanimate. 

We have looked at the 10 main land habitats and begun to think about how and why the plants and animals can live in the places they do. We looked in detail how a camel is adapted to live in a desert. 

In PE our Pirate fitness has been going well, we are having to really use core strength to make and hold some of the positions and we are getting better at balancing.
