Programme Structure

  • In-School Training Model: Most training takes place in one host school, allowing you to develop confidence and familiarity in your classroom setting.

  • Placement Locations: Schools across Leicestershire and South Derbyshire, offering diverse experiences and exposure to different teaching styles.

  • Flexible Routes: Choose between our 11-month full-time or 20-month part-time postgraduate training programmes.
  • Qualifications Awarded: Upon completion, trainees receive Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
